It was a golden age. When someone needed a trust worthy mechanic, a reliable plumber or a secure bank for their money, they knew exactly who to talk to you. They just went down to the local lodge and asked around. One could always trust a Brother or Sister, because they held the same values.

Today, it seems harder and hard to find individuals you can relate to; people that you would invite to dinner, whether at your favorite restaurant or in your home. These are the kinds of friends that you can’t make through Facebook, who will do more than just follow your account, or like latest vacation photos.

The Independent Order of Odd Fellows is the original social network. Our members are people of character who want to make a difference in the community. We know there are more people out there, just like us, who value a real, person-to-person connection.
